While he spent his early career in clinical research, Daniel has post-graduate qualifications in finance and has subsequently held roles (between start-ups) in consulting and corporate innovation.
Daniel retains extensive networks in innovation, industry, government and investment circles; he has also managed a diverse technologies portfolio for a top-performing Australian venture capital fund.
Andrew Minett, PhD, BSc (Hons) — Engineering Director
Andrew holds a PhD in materials science, and has 20 years’ experience designing and commercialising materials and interfaces for energy applications, adaptive sensing and telecommunications devices.
A prominent academic, he has held prestigious fellowships at Max-Planck Institute Stuttgart and Trinity College Dublin, an Australian QEII Research Fellowship at University of Wollongong, and most recently an associate professorship (and laboratory directorship) in chemical engineering at University of Sydney.
Leveraging his strong commercial acumen, Andrew has extended his career to providing technical and techno-economic advisory services to ASX listed businesses, investment funds and private enterprise.
Mario Grech, BCom — Commercial Director
Mario has 25 years’ experience in senior roles at major institutional lenders in both Australia and Europe in the areas of capital markets, project finance and business development.
His expertise spans several sectors including renewable infrastructure, municipal waste, alternative and sustainable foods, and clean fuel technology.
Mario excels in the management of complex stakeholder relationships and strategic communications to institutional investors, technical bodies and multinational governmental organisations.
